While working in the marketing department of CBU, I realized that we did not have much quality content of our students overseas despite sending over 20 missions trips a summer around the globe for over 20 years. I then laid out a plan and collaborated with other non-profits to get me around the world to document some of our teams. A variation of the plan got approved by the higher ups and I left for 5 weeks across three continents.
The first stop was Tanzania where I documented a CBU medical team as well as another missions team from a college in Iowa that had partnered with a Bible college I had connections with.
Next stop was a friend's wedding in the Czech Republic
The final stop was Phnom Pehn, Cambodia where a CBU team was teaching English in schools out in the villages.
The images have been widely circulated in print and advertising material and used to promote the missions program at CBU, nearly doubly in one year.
